Nuri Sunnah is an independent academic and author based in the United States. His areas of interest and research center on the historical origin of the Qurʾān, Qur’ānic theology, early Islamic history, and comparative late antique religion. To a lesser extent, he also studies Nation of Islam intellectual history and the reception of Islam by contemporary African Americans more broadly.
